indigo group exhibition (2024)

indigo held its first exhibition in 2024 at Goshen, the house of Dapo’s grandfather, which had gradually become a temporary home and gathering space for the collective and its growing community. The exhibition brought together film and photography by Adedapo, visual art by Temidayo, and a diverse range of works spanning art, literature, music, film, and fashion by young artists and creatives based in Ilorin. Contributors included Khafia Akram, Adewonuola Adeniyi, Fawaz Bakare, Eyiyemi Olugbile, Najeeb Ibrahim, and Mariam Onipede, among many others. The exhibition marked a significant moment in indigo’s development, reflecting how years of informal exchange, collaboration, and community-building had begun to crystallise into an active creative ecosystem with the potential to expand beyond the city.
